Espinasse and Roussaly sign with Sherco Factory Racing for EnduroGP
Sherco Factory Racing announce ISDE winners Theo Espinasse and Julien Roussaly have both signed to race the EnduroGP World Championship and French Enduro Championship in 2025.
Two new rider signings or rather re-signed on both accounts as the French manufacturer, Sherco, keeps it patriotic with two recruits for the 2025 EnduroGP season.
A consistent couple of seasons on the OxMoto team have seen Theo Espinasse back at his best culminating with a standout ride at the 2024 ISDE in Spain where he spear-headed the French teams’ victory.
His form has propelled a return to the Sherco team where Espinasse spent formative years in the French team.
Fellow French ISDE World trophy winner, Julien Roussaly, also re-signs with the Sherco Factory Racing team on a rolling contract having moved up from the Sherco Academy team.
The pair will take up home in the CH Racing awning in the EnduroGP paddocks this season alongside Hamish Macdonald and Jeremy Sydow. Espinasse and Roussaly will contest their domestic French Enduro Championship series while Macdonald and Sydow are expected to once again widen the net and race in other European series’.
Exiting the same Sherco factory squad are the recently announced signing to TM racing, Zach Pichon and Wil Ruprecht.
Australian Ruprecht exits after two years where the former E2 world champion has failed to gel as well as expected with the blue and flouro bikes, despite both rider and team working hard to make it happen. No news at present on what’s next for Ruprecht.
