Registration for the 2020 Red Bull Romaniacs, the 17th edition, will open tomorrow, October 23 at 12:00 Eastern Europe Time.

Doesn’t it seem like only last week the Sweet 16 edition of Romaniacs came to a conclusion with Manuel Lettenbichler and Alfredo Gomez battling for the win in the final quarry? Get ready then because tomorrow, October 23, at 12:00 Eastern European Time, registration opens for the 2020 Romaniacs.

Named “Vertical Madness” because of a planned 35,000+ altitude metres of climbing riders will face (nearly four times the high of mount Everest) the 2020 event takes place on July 21-25.

Don’t take our word for it, let Martin Freinademetz himself explain…

The new, fifth class opened for 2020, the ATOM class, looks interesting being aimed at those who are looking for their first taste of Hard Enduro. With the Iron class originally set up for the amateurs proving so popular the riding level has risen within it, this new class is aimed at giving the Romaniacs experience without so much of the bike throwing, ghost riding or trials style sections then this is better suited.

Each class will cover from 70 to 150 kilometres per day which will take between four and 10 hours to complete so if you want to make it to the finish line you better train your technical skills, make sure your bike is ready to tackle four days of extreme enduro and practice using the GPS.

International riders can also rent a motorcycle and assistance packages for the event from various companies that have been successfully supplying these services during the past editions of the race here at the Romaniacs motorcycle rental pages
